Life Through Mama Eyes: All-In-One Shopping Solutions For The Busy Mom

Have I mentioned how hard running errands can be? I am pretty sure I have mentioned it at least once or twice... maybe even three or four times.

Getting three kids buckled up and ready to go out for a few hours of running errands was always the last thing to do on my check list. Knowing I had to run into three or more stores to find all my family’s needs was not the highlight of my day, but everything changed after I first stepped into the newly remodeled BIG LOTS store in Denver!

The floor plan was so open and inviting. I was able to see exactly which way I needed to go to find ALL the items on my list. I was so happy to find so many cute throw blankets and pillows, as well as some candles (

because you can never have too many candles), shower curtains, towels, storage bins, kitchen tools, soap and so much more!

As most of you know, my daughter Amayrani - started first grade two weeks ago and I was able to find everything that was on her school supply list. I even managed to pick up some of our favorite nonperishable snacks, beverages and everything that I use daily to get her school lunch packed up and ready for her to enjoy.

I was able to find all the essentials for our home without visiting three or four stores. Everything I needed was available at Big Lots. My kids are always so hands-on so we played a little game of I-Spy, each one had to find at least 5 items from our shopping list and put it in the cart, they had a blast! I was able to keep a close eye on them thanks to seamless aisles, which can be a challenge sometimes with all three kids and being 6 months pregnant.

My favorite part about our shopping trip to Big Lots was being able to find seasonal decor for our home! I didn't even know where to start, all their pieces were so cute and I wanted them all! To be honest, I was very impressed with their Harvest Cottage Collection. With so many neutral colors and rustic vibes, I'm sure there is something for everyone's personal taste.

Big Lots' halloween selection was probably the kid's favorite part of then trip. They were able to see the displays up close and made sure to tell me many, many times that we needed to add more halloween items to our original list. I had to compromise and I promised we would be back.
