Lets talk about sex baby!

I mean the sex of the baby... silly!

The moment I officially found out I was pregnant, in my heart I knew our baby's gender. Although I won't lie, I was always changing my guesses but deep down I just knew. Funny thing is, this has happened with all my pregnancy's and I was right about my instinct. Every time!

There have been many differences between this pregnancy and those with my girls and my son. For example: I didn't suffer from morning sickness at all which was such a blessing because I went through hell the first three months with my first two pregnancies.  Second - my husband and I were able to find out the gender of baby A at 11 weeks! I decided to go ahead and take the opportunity of the DNA and Donuts event that SneakPeek provides as the clinical option, which is an event they do with local ultrasound facilites. They have a licensed phlebotomist come in and draw your blood and send it off to the lab! Super easy, welcoming and you don't have to poke yourself because to be quite honest, I flinched a little at the thought of having to poke my finger ha! The studio I attended was First View Ultrasound, the owner was so nice and had a cute little set up of donuts and orange juice (which my kids totally took advantage of) for us to enjoy.

The phlebotomist was super quick and professional.

We even got to hear baby A's heartbeat and take a little peek with a 4D Ultrasound. I was in tears, hearing my baby's heart beat for the first time was an incredible experience, it always is. 

Now it was the waiting game, I wasn't very impatient and I tried not to think to much of it because it would have felt like an eternity. Fast forward to the next day, I got an email saying my results were in and I would get another email with the gender within a few hours. Oh that was it for me, I was seriously checking my email very 5 minutes LOL. 

Then it came...

OMG!! We are expecting another baby BOY! I cried. My family is complete, and I felt incredibly blessed!

I want to thank SneakPeek and Todd from First View Ultrasound for making this a possibility for my family and I. We had such a great experience, all the staff was professional and so outgoing. Todd made it his priority that my kids participate and feel welcomed by providing toys, letting them help out and giving them each a picture of their new baby brother. Oh and lets not forget that he made sure they would leave happy and with their bellies full of donuts.
